A new shareholder in my company: how can I avoid side-slipping?

On 18/11, 19/11 and 21/11, Pierre-Alexis Léonard (Managing Partner) and Guillaume Dasnoy (Project Manager) have given a series of conferences in partnership with the CCI Liège-Verviers-Namur. The subject of these conferences was “A new shareholder in my company: how can I avoid side-slipping?”.

When a company wants to grow, shareholders are frequently turning to external investors to finance their projects. However, these shareholders are often ill-equipped to cope with the investment process, which may be long and very complex. This can create misunderstanding and frinction, and may ultimately cause the project to fail.

During the conference, Mr. Leonard and Mr. Dasnoy described the main steps of a ‘standard’ capital increase process. They gave many examples of legal and financial best practices to increase the likelihood of a successful capital increase.

If you have questions related to this topic or if you want to attend one of our next conferences, please contact Pierre-Alexis Léonard (pierre-alexis.leonard@deminor.com).
