The Deminor team was pleased to welcome a large audience in the Ghelamco Arena in Ghent.
This year the Deminor debate evening was completely dedicated to the family business. Prior to the evening, filled with an interesting panel discussion and walking dinner, the Deminor team organised three different information sessions, including a session on estate planning.
What exactly does “estate planning” mean? How do you start and what are the points of attention?
In this session, Maxime Poppe discussed the various steps in the process of estate planning for the next generation. The rules (and taxation) that apply in the absence of estate planning and how you can make changes later through a gift or will.
